Update to LAN-MAN: UT's Wireless
Phase 1 of the wireless upgrade is completed. New SSIDs are available across campus with ut-wpa2 as the trusted wireless network, ut-open as the replacement of nomad, and ut-visitor to accomodate UT's guests. Read the report attached below to know more about IP addresses and new features of the wireless network. We need your help as well: report areas that have a lack of coverage to help@utk.edu.
Warning: Please stop using nomad. When joining nomad, you prevent all the other networks (ut-wpa2, ut-open, ut-visitor, eduroam) to operate properly.

Philippe Hanset's presentation to UTK's LAN Managers is now available for public viewing. The presentation covers the major upgrade to wireless infrastructure to be completed by the end of the summer, and the changes users may encounter.
